Jared Axelrod is an author, an illustrator, a graphic designer, a sculptor, a costume designer, a podcaster and quite a few other things that he's lost track of but will no doubt remember when the situation calls for it.
He is a founding member of the daily flash-fiction website 365 TOMORROWS, and the writer and producer of two science-fiction podcasts, “The Voice Of Free Planet X” and the serial “Aliens You Will Meet.
He is not domestic, he is a luxury, and in that sense, necessary.

Who Is Jared Axelrod?

What Do I Do?
I’m a writer, sculptor, illustrator, costumer, puppeteer, freak show performer and cape enthusiast. I was a founding member of 365 Tomorrows, and wrote 78 stories for it. I am the creator of two podcasts, The Voice of Free Planet X and Aliens You Will Meet.
If you head over to I Should Be Writing, you’ll see my conceptual espresso shot series “News From Poughkeepsie” and the webcomic “All Write!” that I do with the fiendishly talented Natalie Metzger. I mean, seriously. Look how talented:
I recently spoke at the Camden County College about comics as literature, which I something I don’t really need an academic setting to do, but was nice to have. And the audience seemed to enjoy it, so there’s that.
I’m also on the cover of the March issue of Semaphore Magazine and Roger Ebert‘s blog, representing steampunk the best way I know how.
I make costumes for Plays And Players Theatre whenever they need superheroes. Which is every second Saturday or so.
