Jared Axelrod is an author, an illustrator, a graphic designer, a sculptor, a costume designer, a podcaster and quite a few other things that he's lost track of but will no doubt remember when the situation calls for it.
He is a founding member of the daily flash-fiction website 365 TOMORROWS, and the writer and producer of two science-fiction podcasts, “The Voice Of Free Planet X” and the serial “Aliens You Will Meet.
He is not domestic, he is a luxury, and in that sense, necessary.

I’ve been busy with deadlines and grad school applications, so this spot of the internet has gotten a little dark and poetry-ridden. Such is bound to happen. Luckily, my brother Joel, industrial designer and snake-wine enthusiast, is here to pick up the slack. One of his latest concepts, the Bamboo Appetito cutting board, has been featured on no less than Yanko Design.
Joel has promised me one of these, but now that its gotten international notice, I may have pay for one.

DAMN! I like that idea. Finally, you have someplace to sweep your cutting scraps into while your working without having to move to the trash can to do it. VERY handy indeed!

I think this would be great for making salads or anything where you had to chop a lot of similar items like fruits or vegetables. I always make a mess and feel like my board isn’t big enough for waste and chopped food. I also like how it looks, but would want to see it come apart for cleaning.
